Compare the listed fiber composition, cut, coverage and care instructions. “Ice silk” in a product name should not be read as proof that the garment contains silk or meets a particular cooling or drying standard.
Modal vs cotton underwear: what to compare
Two pairs with different fiber labels can also have different fabric weights, knit structures, rises and leg lengths. If one feels better to you, the fiber may not be the only reason. Choose the construction and fit you prefer rather than assuming every modal pair is better than every cotton pair.

What does “ice silk” mean on a product page?
For shopping purposes, treat the phrase as a description to investigate, not a composition. Read the specification to find out which fibers are actually listed. Some FURQX names use “ice silk” to describe the intended feel; this does not establish that the product contains silk.
